ITINERARY

Day 1: USA - Malaga.
Overnight transatlantic flight to Malaga. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board

Day 2: Malaga - Torremolinos.
Arrive at Malaga airport where you'll me met by our representative and transfer to your chosen hotel in Torremolinos, a seaside paradise with many charming boutiques. Enjoy a balance of the day at leisure or explore this charming resort on your own. Welcome drink and dinner.


Malaga

Day 3: Torremolinos - Picasso's Malaga.
After breakfast, enjoy a tour to Malaga, "capital" of Costa del Sol founded 3500 years ago by the Phoenicians, was the scene of Romans, Visigoths, Arabs and the Catholic Kings. The old town center resembles a large open-air museum, with its mighty cathedral, the narrow winding streets, small squares and green oases. A waterfront promenade are lined with tall palm and plane trees. Bougavillea, aloes and geraniums flourish alongside the clean, modern port. During the tour you will visit a newly opened Picasso Museum, featuring an extensive collection of the renowned artist's work. En route, we'll stop at the remains of the Roman Theatre, which dates to the first century,  than continue to the place La Merced to see Pablo Picasso's birthplace.

Day 4: Torremolinos - optional tour Granada.
After breakfast free time to stroll along the seaside promenade or take optional tour to Granada's magnificent Alhambra, a UNESO World Heritage Site. We ride through the mountains of Malaga and the narrow valley of the Rio Guadalmina, Antequera and to Granada. In the 13th century the Nazarite were rolling the Kingdom of Granada and Alhamar Ibs Nasr, had his residence in the vicinity of the Alcazaba fortress. Your visit includes famous Lion Courtyard, and a leisurely walk through the Generalife water garden. You will see fairly-tale labyrinth of quiet courtyards, serene pools, sparkling fountains, and opulent harem rooms. It is the magnificent Moorish monument ever built. Here you will enjoy a spectacular view of town below and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It the leisure afternoon you will tour the picturesque city of the Caravanserai, the Royal Chapel and the cathedral passes. The American writer Irving Washington lived in Granada and wrote one of his most  well know plays "Tales of Alhambra".

Day 5: Torremolinos - optional tour to Seville.
Enjoy your day at leisure to sip café con - leche at sidewalk café of this charming area. Take a walk to La Carihuela, the original fishing village that was once. Today, its many restaurants are the best places to get fresh local seafood, or take optional tour to Seville, capital of the Andalucia home of the flamenco. This has been a large and important city since the days of Roman Empire; Julius Caesar himself fortified it in 45 B.C.  Visit the gigantic Gothic cathedral of Santa Maria, the third largest in Europe and its famous Giralda Tower housing the tomb of Christopher Columbus, Maria Luisa Park with its magnificent gardens of the royal palace Alcazar. This palace was built during the 12th century by Muslims. Stroll through the narrow lanes of the charming Santa Cruz (old Jewish quarter), view the striking minaret, and slenderest tower in Muslim architecture "La Giralda". Splendid baroque facades and monuments of this the one of the most beautiful city in Andalusia is the home of "Carmen", "Don Juan" and the Barber of Seville".


Seville

Day 6: Torremolinos - optional tour to Tangier - Morocco.
Free day or join us on optional tour to exotic city of Tangier in Morocco. Your will cross by ferry from Gibraltar to Tangiers. Upon arrival you need turn your clock back by two hours. Visit the colorful "Grand Socco", market before continue to Cabash where you can views the beautiful Spanish Riviera and take pictures of the Sultan's palace.


Cordoba Mesquita

Day 7: Torremolinos - optional tour to Cordoba.
Today Cordoba the glorious past is still alive. The past began in the year 152BC, when the Roman praetor Claudio Marcelo place name it the capital of this part of the Roman Empire. The Islamic Cordoba's history begins in the year 711. A few years later, the Prince Abd al-Rahman I creates now in al-Andalus and independent state. From the year 912 Cordoba  is the shiniest city in the Europe with more than 1000 mosques and 800 houses. As early as 700 years before London and Paris, the city had street lighting. There was also the largest library of medieval Europe. The Cordoba Moorish orchestral masterpiece, the former Mezquita mosque is one of the great creations of Islamic architecture with its golden mosaics and rows of red-and-white-striped arches disappearing into infinity. The tour of Cordoba ends with shopping tour through the Jewish quarter.

Day 8: Torremolinos - USA.
Morning transfer to the airport for your return flight to USA.
